No, I’m not talking about the Miranda Warning, I’m talking about our niece, Shanin’s sister’s daughter. And she is the cutest thing in the world! Very well behaved, smart as a tack, blah blah blah. We really like her, but we really like our nieces, and they’re our nieces, so I guess we’re biased. But c’est la vie.
We showed up at the house a little before everyone else, so we got to play with Miranda a bit before the party started. Of course, it’s a 4-year-old’s birthday party, so there was the usual stuff i.e. running amok, eating cake and ice cream, and opening presents. Everyone had a good time, and we even got a surprise visit from Shanin’s Uncle Ken and Aunt Vickie. That was in addition to the usual suspects and Muff.
