Mom and I went to the Santa Clara Scrapbook Convention, and each spent way more than we should. We started off making our usual Starbucks run. Then we pulled our Naggy Navie to show us the way to heaven. After a little mix up on where to turn we managed to stay on the route Navie had recaluculated. Once there we struggle to find a decent parking space, since they closed the area Mom normally parked. When we walked into the building we were overwhelmed by the amount of booths. How were we ever going to get through all of them without emptying our checking accounts?
Josh and I invited Debben and Kyle over for dinner Saturday night to celebrate Debben’s whatever year birthday. I had framed a scrapbook page that I had made with Josh’s help. The page was dedicated to her family who all got together for Jakob’s 7th birthday at Chuck E Cheese; where I managed to get some great pictures of all of them having fun. When they arrived we busted out the drinks and Debben ripped open her present. Afterwards, Josh and Kyle went downstairs to BBQ the Jamacian Jerk Chicken recipe he got from visiting our relatives in Jersey. He also prepared some seasoned potatoes to be roasted in the oven. The food was awesome when Uncle Matt made it, so we begged for the recipe. Josh did a fabulous job replicating the sauce, and the chicken was juicy. Josh’s version was slightly more spicy, but we still wolfed down every piece. Jamacian Jerk is now on the favorite list thanks to Josh’s excellent job.
