So Shanin and I decided to watch Enchanted Sunday night and, to our surprise, it was actually pretty good! Now, I’m not saying that I’d pay full retail for it. However, if you were to catch me wearing pajamas in Target on a lazy Saturday and told me you saw it at the checkout stands for $7.99, I’d probably pick it up.
We were both shaking our heads and smiling a sort of “God, this is so cliche” for about the first 20 minutes, but the smiles gradually became more amused than bemused. True, it was a typical fairy tale movie, complete with evil step-mother (first one I’d seen in years), and we could write the plot as soon as we had met all the characters.
