Be Prepared

Josh has just finished a Flash player-database interaction application. He has just learned how to do lots of cool and crazy things in Flash. He is also learning ActionScript 3.0, which means he will learn how to do more crazy cool things in Flash much more efficiently. There may be a website redesign, a blog redesign, a gallery redesign, or all of the above sometime in the near future.

Scrapbook Convention

Mom and I went to the Santa Clara Scrapbook Convention, and each spent way more than we should. We started off making our usual Starbucks run. Then we pulled our Naggy Navie to show us the way to heaven. After a little mix up on where to turn we managed to stay on the route Navie had recaluculated. Once there we struggle to find a decent parking space, since they closed the area Mom normally parked. When we walked into the building we were overwhelmed by the amount of booths. The Beach

During the hot spells we like to get a group of friends together and cool off at the beach. This year the middle of June was burning up (lots of fires). In desperation we piled into two cars and headed to the cool coastline. We arrived at our favorite beach in Capitola. We layed out our blankets, and soaked in the sun while we read. The cool breeze made playing ball not too hot, but actually fun. The guys had to get all dramatic, diving for the ball in the sand. I didn’t want sand in my privates, so I let it drop if it was just out of reach. After lunch we did a little window shopping before we headed home. The party didn’t stop there. Debben and I work on our scrapbook projects, until the rest of the gang came back for pizza and a movie. Everyone was pleasantly exhausted by the perfect day, and headed home with smiles on their faces and sunburns on their backsides.
